Nel H2, H4, and H6 hydrogen generators utilize advanced Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) cell stack and PSA technology to consistently produce 99.9995% reliable ultra-high purity hydrogen for all applications on-site. PEM hydrogen generators provide direct user benefits by improving supply reliability and site safety.
H Series hydrogen generators are modular, field-upgradeable, and designed to eliminate the need for delivered hydrogen anywhere in the world. A single H6 unit, for example, can supply the equivalent of one and a half jumbo tube trailers per month. Specifications for H Series Hydrogen Electrolyzers
H Series hydrogen generators utilize a platinum catalyst and PEM technology to split deionized water into its constituent parts. The PEM only allows water and positive ions to cross between compartments. The membrane also serves as the electrolyte in the cell, eliminating the need for hazardous liquid electrolytes such as concentrated potassium hydroxide. PEM water electrolysis simply splits pure deionized water (H2O) into its constituent parts, hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2), on either side of the membrane.
